Siamak Kordestani is the Assistant Director of the American Jewish Committee's Los Angeles Regional Office, where he handles legislative affairs, international relations, public affairs and communications.
From 2011 to 2014, Siamak was Senior Legislative Assistant to Congressman Brad Sherman (D-CA) in Washington, DC. During his time on Capitol Hill, Siamak advised Congressman Sherman on energy, labor, trade, foreign policy, and immigration. He led Representative Sherman’s work on the House Foreign Affairs Committee.
Siamak lives in Los Angeles with his wife and has traveled to India, Thailand, Argentina, Peru, Mexico, Colombia, Israel, Italy, Spain, Belgium, and the Netherlands.
